Non-Sparking Specialty Hammers

Nupla Corporation manufactures the broadest line of Quick Change Specialty non-sparking, non magnetic, surface protective hammers with Nuplaglas® fiberglass handles. 

These hammers are recommended by safety engineers and insurance companies for use in all volatile or hazardous work environments.  They meet OSHA (Occupational Safety Health Administration, USA) requirements for use in locations where flammable vapors or combustible residues are present, and comply with all U.S. Government specifications for non-sparking hand tools.  Typical uses would be in industries with potential of high vapor emission such as nuclear, petrochemical, near volatile liquids or liquid transmission facilities, and in mines.

All Nupla specialty safety hammers are manufactured using proprietary patented technology.  Quick Change Safety hammers are assembled with Nuplaglas® Lifetime® fiberglass handles which, unlike wooden handled “safety hammers”, are resistant to industrial and hazardous chemicals and are easily cleaned of volatile residuals.  All Quick Change hammer heads use non-ferrous hardware.  Nupla safety hammers easily outlast wood handled hammers 10 to 1.

• Quick-Change hammers provide unparalleled versatility and performance and are available in a broad range of weights from 6 oz. to 128 oz. (8 lb.).  Used with interchangeable striking faces (tips) of varying hardnesses from super soft to extra hard, these non sparking hammers can be used for a multitude of applications.  Also available as sets in 16 oz. (1 lb.) and 20 oz. (1.25 lb.) versions with six or eight selected 1.5” striking faces in durable molded cases.
• Brass hammers, using the finest brass available, are designed for applications requiring tremendous driving force in a compact size.  Available in 24 oz. (1.5 lb.), 40 oz. (2.5 lb.) and 64 oz. (4 lb.) versions.
• Micro-Strike® innovative miniature mallet sets offer three or six molded, interchangeable and replaceable composite striking heads with one Nuplaglas pultruded fiberglass handle.  The revolutionary handle to head attachment system allows easy and quick interchangeability of mallet heads.  The set provides unmatched convenience and quality for focused non sparking applications from micro electronics, telecommunications and metal working to aircraft and aerospace.
