Short Striking Tool Replacement Handles

Nupla has one of the industry’s broadest lines of short striking tool replacement handles.  Genuine Nuplaglas® handles in appropriately sized cross sections fit the most popular striking tool eyeholes covered in ANSI and U.S. Federal Specifications.  Available in both Classic® Nuplaglas and Ergo Power® configurations, these short handles can be installed in a wide range of tools including ball peins, claw/ripping hammers, hand drilling, cross pein and small weight sledge hammers.  Mech/Loc® replacement handles for short striking tools further enhance this line.

Classic® Nuplaglas handles have been the standard in the industry from the mid ‘50s when Nupla patented the revolutionary Nuplaglas process of pultruding millions of fiberglass strands combined with resin to create solid tool handles of tremendous strength and durability.  This pultrusion process still drives Nuplaglas handled tools today with ten-fold new products and applications.

Ergo Power® handles feature a solid pultruded Nuplaglas structural core with a injection molded outer jacket of engineering polymer for a perfect balance of ergonomic comfort, safety, strength and durability.

Mech/Loc® System replacement handles for short striking tools are based on another revolutionary Nupla patent and are particularly useful for field installation and quick tool turnaround.  The unique state-of-the-art System features a razor-tooth adaptor molded to the end of a Nuplaglas handle.  The handle with adaptor is inserted into a tool head and two razor-tooth wedges with opposing key locks are installed on either side of the adaptor to complete the assembly.  The Mech/Loc System provides a fast and incredibly strong assembly of handle to tool head, with no epoxy bond required, cutting drying time for epoxy curing and allowing immediate use of the tool.

Nuplaglas handles are offered with a choice of seven ergonomic grip styles to provide maximum comfort and a better user-fit.  This alleviates gripping effort and “squeeze” even in moist or humid conditions.
