This group offers a wide range of Classic® Nuplaglas® and Ergo Power® handled tools useful for a number of heavy-duty applications.

Telegraph Pole Shovels are ideal for digging and shaping pole holes while Telegraph Spoons are used to remove residue from the holes.  Protective PVC sleeve over the first 5 ft. section of the handle shaft provides extra protection from abrasion while digging or scooping dirt in deep holes or trenches.  Available in lengths from 48” to 144”, all tools have sturdy Nuplaglas handles for added durability.

Super Heavy Duty Bolt Cutters are the perfect tools for cutting through hard bolts and locks.  These tools are essential for rescue operations and forcible entry among other life-saving uses.  The jaws are forged, high strength steel and capable of cutting through hard bolts 3/16” (5 mm) through 23/64” (9 mm).  Bolt cutters are available in 4 sizes in lengths from 18” through 36”. 

Post Hole Diggers are great for heavy-duty digging and are available in 48” to 120” lengths.  The blades are hardened 12 gauge steel with a 6 ½” jaw spread and a heavy rivet construction.  These tools with sturdy Nuplaglas handles are known for their durability and digging ease even in hard soils.

Farming Forks are offered in three patterns –

Spading Forks for digging and aerating in all types of soil have 7” x 10 ½” plate steel heads with 4 slightly angled, parallel tines and are available with Ergo Power or Classic Nuplaglas handles.

Manure/Stable/Hay Forks have 9” x 13” plate steel heads with 4 angled tines at 35-40 degrees, great for lifting, collecting and spreading stranded materials.  They are good for agricultural and industrial use. Available in two handle styles – Ergo Power and Classic Nuplaglas in long and short lengths.  Short handles with ergonomic D-grip. 

Bedding Fork has 16 tines.  The 11 ¼” x 14 ½” head made of extremely tough polycarbonate together with a long Nuplaglas handle makes the complete tool moisture and chemical-resistant.  Multipurpose fork but particularly used for bedding, spreading mulch/compost, and manure removal.

Classic Nuplaglas handles exceed all Federal standards and are made of pultruded structural fiberglass that is composed of millions of continuous parallel fiberglass strands cured under tension in a thermosetting resin with reinforced sections at critical stress points.  This design produces optimum strength-to-weight ratios and provides the user with safety and durability required in all heavy duty applications.

Ergo Power ergonomic handles feature a combination of a sturdy outer sleeve of engineered polymer injection molded over a core of super strong pultruded Nuplaglas. In extreme use conditions, the external polymer sleeve of the handle will contain any possible fracture of the internal fiberglass core and create a “fail-safe failure” within the handle.  This prevents the potential for user injury as in the case of failure of other materials e.g. wood.

All Nupla handles have excellent dielectric properties that make them safe to use even in wet conditions.  Smooth, resin rich handle surfaces protect users from splinters and resist UV deterioration.  The handles are unaffected by cuts, blows, moisture, or most industrial chemicals and are easily cleaned of concrete, tar etc.  In addition, the tools have a high shelf life since they are unaffected by fungus, termites or dry rot as are wood handled tools.
