Nupla Scoops

Nupla offers a wide range of Nuplaglas® fiberglass handled Scoops with two handle configurations –Ergo Power® and Classic®. These tools are the choice of professionals around the world for the heaviest applications.  From state departments of transportation to the most severe underground and electric utility work, these tools are renowned for their safety and durability and are specified more often than any other brand on the market.  Nuplaglas handles are non-conductive and safe for use around all manner of industrial hazards.

The range of scoops includes Aluminum Scoops, General Scoops, Western Scoops, Eastern Scoops, and Coal Scoops.

Ergo Power handles feature a combination of a sturdy outer sleeve of engineered polymer injection molded over a core of super strong pultruded fiberglass. The Nuplaglas core is manufactured using a patented process of pultruding millions of fiberglass strands combined with resin to create handles of tremendous strength and durability.  The ergonomically designed long and short D-grip tool handles have a smaller radius at the bottom to comfortably rest in the palm and tapered flat sides for improved control. 

Classic shovel handles feature pultruded structural fiberglass that is composed of millions of continuous parallel fiberglass strands cured under tension in a thermosetting resin, with reinforced sections at critical stress points.  This design produces optimum strength-to-weight ratios and provides the user with safety and durability in all heavy duty industrial applications. 

Aluminum Scoops feature a large heavy duty square point blade for digging and scooping gravel and coarse materials.  Heat treated and tempered blades resist wear and breakage. 

General Scoops for general purposes with heat treated and tempered blades, resist wear and breakage.

Western Scoops feature broad, deep scoops for moving large volumes.  Ribbed for strength, these scoops are heat treated and tempered for resistance to wear and breakage.

Eastern Scoops also have broad deep scoops for moving large volumes. Ribbed for strength, these scoops are heat treated and tempered for resistance to wear and breakage.

Coal Scoops have broad, square pattern blades for scooping coal and similar coarse materials.  Heat treated and tempered blades resist wear and breakage.
