Classic Nupole System
The NUPOLE Interchangeable Shovel System is unique to Nupla. This versatile take-apart tool system features the most popular digging tool blades and Classic Nuplaglas® handle extensions together with grip sections to make the desired length of tool quickly and easily.
Nupole quick-connect fittings allow for blade interchangeability to suite the job. Extensions can be added to suit the depth of the digging area and portability allows the tool to be taken apart and compactly stored in vehicles’ locked compartments, while saving weight. The Nupole System reduces the investment needed for complete tools and minimizes tool inventory.
Featured popular blade styles include Round Point, Square Point, Garden Spade, Sharp Shooter/Drain Spade, and Post Hole Digger. Handle extensions are available in 3 ft. lengths with 3 ft. butt and D-grip sections.
Further blade styles offered are the Telegraph Shovel and Telegraph Western Spoon with handle extensions and butt grip sections each in a 5.25 ft. length. An ergonomic PVC sleeve over the handle extensions and butt grip sections provides extra protection from abrasion while digging or scooping dirt in deep holes or trenches.
The blade, handle extension and grip sections have mating connectors that allow quick assembly and disassembly. Longer tools can be quickly assembled using a center handle extension. The sturdy connectors are made of aircraft aluminum and have quick-release buttons for connecting to blade, center extension and grip sections.
Classic Nuplaglas handles exceed all Federal standards and are made of pultruded structural fiberglass that is composed of millions of continuous parallel fiberglass strands cured under tension in a thermosetting resin. This design produces the optimum strength-to-weight ratio and provides the user with the durability required in all heavy duty applications.
The handles have excellent dielectric properties that make them safe to use even in wet conditions. Their non-conductive properties allow the handles to be safely used for underground and utility work. Smooth, resin rich handle surfaces protect users from splinters and resist UV deterioration. The handles are unaffected by cuts, blows, moisture, or most industrial chemicals and are easily cleaned of concrete, tar etc. In addition, the tools have a high shelf life since they are unaffected by fungus, termites or dry rot as are wood handled tools.
